Pantai Lombang, Sumenep – Madura. (Lombang Beach, Sumenep – Madura Island)

Sabtu dan Minggu, 24-25 Oktober, Surabaya – Madura.

Me and my officemates were taking plan to go on a vacation somewhere, someday..and finally it’s settled that we went to Pantai Lombang, Madura (Lombang Beach – Madura Island). We started from Surabaya, about 17.00 PM, 3 cars for about 20 people, some are with our husband/wife and children.

It wasn’t too long till it was almost dark when we arrived at Suramadu Bridge. It was my first time to get through the famous bridge..and it’s true huge Suramadu is a new built bridge by Indonesian government to pass Surabaya city to Madura Island. When it was only “Fery” or boat vehicle used to pass the sea bay between Surabaya and Madura…now we have the Suramadu Bridge to get over the ocean and get in to Madura Island for about 30 minutes or more..

The trip was still going on.. and 4 hours more to go from 18.00 PM.

We were on Bangkalan. Some of us were asleep when we’re almost leaving Bangkalan, then here we were..stopped to had dinner. It was 08.00 PM. And half an hour after we left to continue the adventure.

It took 3 hours when we left Bangkalan and passed Sampang, Pamekasan, then arrived at Sumenep. Goshh… we weren’t at the beach yet! We should spend the night at a hotel in Sumenep before we leave in the morning.

At a hotel in Sumenep, we spent the night right away because it’s so much hurt in our neck, shoulder, legs, and many more sitting cause of in the car for about 5 hours!

Then it was 7.00 to 08.00 AM, nice morning and we were ready to go for breakfast near the location, then immediately departed. Can’t wait to see the beach.. then it almost 11.00 AM already. Some of the children were sleeping, and so the mother/father

But not so early, 15 minutes more to go, there’s an accident. We were on the beach area but we got the wrong way… then we should turn the direction to get the proper way. Too bad, evidently one of the car’s tyre slipped into the land. Other 2 cars should stop helping. *sigh* Coz the sands is too soft to keep the car..

Finally when other Maduranese people come to help, the slipped tyre got succeeded in going out. We continue the adventure again

11.00 AM (or more). We were at the beach!! Yes,…!! All people running out to feel the sand and water right away.. took pictures.. and so did I…

But oh..I felt irritated..coz my son cried over and over.. so loud.. he asked to go back to home.. coz it was his first time at a beach, and he wasn’t feeling comfort yet I tried to persuade him with nice words..and other persuasions but he kept on crying ( — ‘ )

One hour later. It seemed I made it. My son starts to smile and played with sands with me… then…he began to feel comfortable.. I like it.. when he played by himself in the water..and when we got into a boat sailing the sea *grin*

After 3-4 hours spending our time.. then we departed to get back home to Surabaya… having dinner at Sumenep. Then 5 more hours to go to get home.. it was 11.00 PM when I arrived home at that night.. soo tireeddd………………….:D
